TE Energy, a global operating unit of TE Connectivity, develops, manufactures and markets products and systems for the electrical power industry and is looking for a Distribution Account Manager working remotely.
The Distribution Account Manager (DAM) has responsibility for the day-to-day management of our Energy Channel BU activities. The Channel business interacts with TE's distribution partners. This position is responsible for driving strategy and results in the organization to meet the Energy goals and objectives. The DAM is a salesperson managing all aspects of the business related to the distributors in the country. The DAM is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic account plan to drive maximum revenue, market share, account penetration and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Implementing/executing channel strategy aligned to product strategies by market/country through specialized distributors and EWS.
Implementing the new distribution policy to segment distributors according to their potential as well as implementing service level agreements, holding them accountable through effective scorecards and managing mutually beneficial incentives.
Collaborating with sales, PM and market management on the choice of channel partners to support GTM initiatives.
Driving business growth through sales and product development with regional sales teams, launching new products.
Implementing Key Distributors Quarterly business reviews (QBR).
Communicating direction and recommending actions back to Product Management, reviewing digital leverage methods to establish growth in the channel.
What your background should look like:
To ensure compliance with services and project realization, the position requires a close working relationship with multiple different functions within TE like Pricing, Quality, Customer Care, and Engineering to exceed customers' service and support expectations.
To be successful you need to have:
At least 2-3 years of experience with customers gained from the company related to Energy market/Electrical products.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering or equivalent level of practical experience.
Strong written and verbal English language skills (B2+ level).
Ability to work across regions (Spain/Portugal) and travel regularly up to 75% of the time with a valid driver's license.
Strong IT skills with a very good knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel). Knowledge of C2S or Tableau would be an advantage.
Experience in a fast-paced multinational environment.
Very good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
Open-minded and positive attitude with very good communication skills.
