A&M; in Europe has, in recent years, strengthened its Restructuring presence in Financial Restructuring, Corporate Transformation and Insolvency by recruiting high-profile teams at Managing Director / Partner level to complement the Company-side Restructuring advisory team.
The Restructuring group is growing ambitiously across the European region and further afield and is successfully generating work at a rapid pace.
As a result, we are now seeking a Madrid based Director to focus on Operational Restructuring & Turnaround, and to contribute to our existing A&M; practice in Spain.
A&M; is one of the fastest growing Advisory firms in Spain and we have worked on some of the largest cross-border corporate restructuring and transformation projects in the Iberian region.
Examples of projects include: Financial and Operational Restructuring Debtor Restructuring Balance Sheet Restructuring Asset Sales Cash & liquidity management and forecasting Cross-border wind-downs Preparation and validation of business plans for company management teams Independent business reviews Short term cash flow forecasting frameworks Stakeholder reporting on PMO cost saving initiatives Ideally, a Director will be able to successfully identify client needs and win client trust.
Ultimately, the successful appointee will be recognized by the client as the lead for value contributed on engagements and therefore build his/her own credible network of contacts and referral sources with clients, professionals and institutions.
The ideal applicant will possess: Extensive experience in Company side Restructuring Adept at building 13-week cash flow forecasts A firm understanding of liquidity management, including the impact of risk A strong financial skill set including an understanding of P&L; and asset efficiency (working capital) performance improvement processes Knowledge of Insolvency regimes and Labour Council negotiations is useful Experience gained with the Corporate Recovery / Restructuring practice of a 'Big 4' firms or a leading Advisory firm dealing with turnaround projects A recognized accountancy qualification or a robust understanding of financial and analytical accounting (ratio analysis) Fluency in or native Spanish and English is essential and other European languages are highly desirable Experience in building 13-week cash flows, integrated financial models and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills Good understanding of valuation methods Demonstrable experience of delivering complex projects and exceptional stakeholder management A strong desire to build on their existing skill set and develop knowledge of all restructuring offerings Experienced in working with operational and finance teams within large distressed organisations #J-18808-Ljbffr
