Director CSL Implementation - PMO & QA Role objectives: As a member of ADP's CSL Implementation Senior Leadership team, the Director CSL Implementation - Project Management Office (PMO) & Quality Assurance (QA) has global responsibility to bring global alignment and consistency of project delivery, supporting the development of a high performing and highly skilled team of experts in the delivery of Implementation projects.
Reporting to the Vice President of Implementation, CSL, the Director has accountability for ensuring the adherence of all Implementation activities to the defined methodologies, including adoption of tools and technology in the execution of those methodologies.
Above all, the Director is responsible for driving an improved client experience, through client-oriented adherence and improvements.
Responsibilities: With all actions, improvements and strategies centred on client experience: Short term - Specific Responsibilities & Deliverables Global assessment of current status of adherence to defined methodologies, identifying gaps in both adherence and methodology: Through direct associate and project portfolio assessment Collaboration with CSL Implementation Extended Leadership to identify root causes or contributing factors Wider input from BoBs, GV and other ADP colleagues as useful Define recommended corrective actions for the short term to drive client experience improvement within first half FY24 Together with Operations Strategy team, define improved Project Management methodology Long Term Responsibilities & Accountabilities Project Management: Ownership of the global Project Management methodology, ensuring a scalable and robust approach across all client segments and appropriate to each, considering: PMI best practice - longer term accreditation or certification SBS to Global size clients Required collateral, training, and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Supporting tools, technology and ecosystem as well as wider interfacing business processes Adherence: Responsibility for ensuring ALL associates globally adhere to the defined standards and methodologies through the use of audits, shadowing, data/metrics, and reviews.
Strong dotted line responsibility for all Regional level QA associates to ensure global consistency in the adherence to, and execution of the Project Management methodology: Provide guidance, support and expertise on the appropriate, proactive risk assessment and mitigation across global project portfolios Managing project quality assurance review reports and post project evaluation processes while ensuring coordination and completion of agreed upon action items.
Issues Resolution & Continuous Improvement: Provide guidance, direction or escalation to facilitate swift resolution by the Regional Hypercare teams.
Provide guidance and advice at a strategic level to Implementation leadership across a wide range of project issues, as well as lessons learned and longer-term improvements across the wider implementation department and eco-system.
Working closely with Indirect Reports and fellow Implementation Directors and Team Leaders ensuring ownership and completion of committed actions to drive quality and improvement.
Support in the adoption of tools and technology that underpins defined methodology.
Collaborate with CSL Implementation Directors to ensure areas of development or improvement for each area is known and an action plan in place: including but not limited to associate training, performance, process adherence.
Participate as a key member of the CSL Implementation senior leadership team and make timely recommendations and presentations regarding Implementation strategies/processes: Contribute to the definition, development, rollout, and effective management of business strategies that achieve the objectives of the CSL Implementation organization worldwide.
Assist the Senior Leadership team in a manner that supports achieving overall implementation business objectives.
Represent CSL Implementation in presentations, discussions, or other group forums within and/or outside of ADP.
Attend Senior Leadership meetings to present PMO and QA strategies and program updates.
Develop and maintain effective client relationships - act as the Senior or Executive sponsor as requested and appropriate.
Assist and provide guidance in the recruitment, hiring, development and retention of highly qualified individuals in accordance with regional budget requirements.
Co-develop hiring profile for implementation associates ensuring consistency across regions.
Deploy, support, and manage employment branding initiatives as required.
Define, assist in the development and implement relevant training plans.
Collaborate effectively across other CSL functions specifically including Sales and Service: Establish and/or improve clear communication and handoffs.
