As the Director of Operations, you will lead operations activities, including the planning, organizing, and execution. The role contributes to global strategy development. The Director of Operations is part of the Country Management Team and, together with the Commercial Director, is responsible for realizing the Country Plan and P&L.
What will be your main focus?You will take overall responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering the organization's operational strategy and outcomes aiming to accelerate profitable growth.You will be responsible for setting and approving area budgets that achieve organizational strategy.You will manage and report on business performance; hold direct reports accountable for the achievement of business plans and take corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of business objectives.You will lead the development of annual and longer-term business plans, ensuring alignment with strategy; quantify business outcomes (i.e. revenues or other key performance indicators) and resource budgets (financial and headcount).You will take part in the integration of key activities or projects across the organization (also on an international level).You will set and communicate the strategy for achieving the organization's mission, vision, and values within a function.You will act as a charismatic leader to inspire a large and diverse number of employees to do extraordinary things to achieve the organization's business goals.Who are you?Master's degree in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, or business administration.Over ten years of managerial experience within operations in an international business environment, preferably with e-commerce exposure.Ability to provide leadership to others regarding work-related systems, processes, and challenges.Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives within medium to long time frames.Continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma) skills and experience.Fluency in written and spoken English.What do we offer?We are an ambitious, fast-growing, and financially sound organization.
