Director Sales New Development
Our client is an award-winning real estate Developer in the GTA. We are conducting a search for a Director Sales for their New Development Communities in the GTA
Responsibilities:
Manage overall sales activities that include market research, sales presentations, tracking of sales and marketing trends, advertising campaigns and promotional events for various multi-family residential projects.
Working closely with the corporate marketing team to ensure effective and consistent articulation of brand and messaging to various audiences, both public-facing and internal, ensuring alignment of company messaging.
Exceptional understanding of local real estate market and remaining up to date on pre-construction home sales and market dynamics to inform product design and pricing.
Lead and manage a team of internal/external sales staff, and work collaboratively to execute residential sales campaigns.
Preparation of regular sales reports, collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
Develop and be responsible for achieving aggressive monthly targets.
Work with internal project teams to advise on project design, including design of the building, amenities, and floorplans to maximize purchase value.
Build and establish a positive rapport with all stakeholders (including hired consultants, vendors, advertisers etc.).
Conduct research and stay up to date on industry/market trends and innovations which may be implemented to improve the value proposition of the portfolio.
Report and present to Senior Management as required.
Offer real-time perspective on industry trends and best practices; share insight and wisdom through presentations to key stakeholders including the firm's partners, investors, and media contacts.
Generate ideas and strategies for new development projects and internal processes that better enable the organization to achieve its goals.
Be responsible for the professional development, performance evaluation and general talent management of ahigh performing sales team.
Hire and monitor consultants where appropriate.
Manage relationships with clients and agents locally and globally.
Academic/Professional Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in business, real estate, or equivalent.
Required Skills/Experience:
5+ years in a professional sales leadership position in an active real estate market of New Development communities
An established track record in leading and managing a diverse and skilled group of professions and in building high-performance teams, expanding capacity and scaling business for growth.
Exceptional oral and written presentation skills to facilitate internal communication and being the "external face" of the company.
