My client is a pioneering company based in the picturesque Basque region, dedicated to cutting-edge technologies for high-reliability and high-performance devices and circuits for the Aerospace industry.
Director of Quality
As the Director of Quality, you will lead the development and implementation of their Quality Management System (QMS) from scratch!
You will ensure it becomes an integral part of the organisational culture as they advance in the high-reliability market.
Key Responsibilities for the Director of Quality:
You will define, implement, maintain, and operate management systems compliant with AS9100 Rev. D initially, and then focus on the implementation of other standards from scratch!
Develop expertise in military and space and JEDEC standards.
Lead internal and external audit activities for our standards and those of suppliers and customers.
You will prepare reports and documentation required by aerospace regulatory agencies.
Required Skills for the Director of Quality:
Proven experience in Quality System Management implementation in AS9100.
Strong electronics (PCB & MIL-STD) and aerospace backgrounds.
Eligibility to work and travel in the EU.
Experience with military and space customers.
Strong team player with the ability to work across the organisation.
Proficiency in English; basic Spanish skills.
