The team is based in Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.What You Will DoWe are actively seeking a Director of Product Economy who will specialize in the live operations of "Monopoly GO!".
This role is pivotal in running and optimizing live events, monetization strategies, and pricing models to ensure the game's profitability and player happiness.
The successful candidate will work closely with community management and marketing teams to nurture positive player sentiment and drive engagement among new and returning players.Coordinate the economic aspects of live operations and special events, ensuring they are crafted to optimize player engagement and revenue generationDevelop and refine monetization strategies and pricing frameworks for virtual goods and services, aligning them with player expectations and market trendsWork collaboratively with the Community and Player Care teams to gauge player feedback and sentiment, using insights to adjust economic strategies promptlyPartner with the Marketing, Social, and Growth teams to devise and implement promotional strategies that incentivize new player onboarding and re-engage lapsed playersAnalyze in-depth data from live game operations to continually refine and improve the economic model, ensuring sustainability and growthLead and mentor a team of economy product managers, encouraging innovation and a deep understanding of mobile gaming economics and player behaviorWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldExemplified experience in economic strategy and monetization in the mobile gaming industry, with significant expertise in leading live game economiesProven analytical and data manipulation skills, proficient in SQL, Python, or similar analytics toolsStrong leadership abilities with experience guiding cross-functional teams in a dynamic environmentAt Scopely, we create games for everyone - and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that!
