Woodston Personnel have an excellent opportunity for a Director of Nursing Education with our client in Saudi Arabia.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage the activities and operations of Nursing Education by assessing, initiating and analyzing nursing services staff, students, interns and residents' educational needs assessments. Communicate educational recommendations to nursing executives and administrative personnel.
Facilitate and design educational programs consistent with Nursing Services practice model, goals and objectives appropriate to the multicultural nursing services staff, students, interns and residents. Ensure implementation of a competency-based nursing orientation program.
Maintain all records pertaining to the operation of the area of assignment and generate reports as required.
Facilitate the development, implementation and evaluation of educational activities to meet the identified needs of Nursing Services staff, students, interns and Residents.
Encourage and provide an environment to support scientific nursing, research and practice. Develop, implement and participate in Quality improvement processes and activities.
Advocate for the needs of the patients and the Program, promote continuum of care in educational activities.
Monitor workload, administrative and support systems; resolve operational problems; implement established procedures and ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations; identify opportunities for improvement; direct and implement changes and monitor productivity status.
Accomplish staff job results by coaching, guiding, and counseling employees; plan, monitor and appraise job results; facilitate training.
Represent the department to other departments, coordinate assigned activities with those of other departments and outside stakeholders, if needed. Deputize and assume responsibilities of similar or higher positions, as and if required.
Prepare and present reports and other necessary correspondence.
Perform other job related duties.

Bachelor Degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution – Essential
Master's Degree in Nursing/Education or related or equivalent from an accredited institution – Essential
Current licensure as a professional registered nurse – Essential
Specific Certification as required in area of assignment – Preferred
Minimum of 10 (ten) years' current clinical nursing experience following licensure/registration in the country of origin, 5 (five) years of which in managerial capacity including 2 (two) years in a comparable position - Essential
