Position Overview Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Director of Medical Marketing will guide brand positioning and marketing strategy development for Incrediwear's new, high-growth category. The individual in this role will support the development and implementation of brand marketing priorities for the launch of the new product line in late Q2/early Q3 2024, ensuring that all activities, campaigns, services, and experiences are integrated and prioritized across all markets and marketplace channels, with focus on BTB healthcare channel for Orthopedic Bracing & Softgoods (OBS). They will be brief owners; ensuring the brand's strategic direction is at the forefront of every initiative, big and small. This individual will partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders representing product development, creative, sales, research production and operations, as well as external agency partners and consultants, to ensure outstanding and timely execution of all prioritized marketing initiatives.
Accountabilities Translate and leverage the Incrediwear flagship brand imperatives into strategic marketing plans for the new product line to drive sales, achieve growth targets, and develop meaningful relationships with HCP's as well as the full spectrum of stakeholders within the complex patient care ecosystem (Prescriber, Orderer, Stocker, et al).Work with the VP of Marketing to develop clear accountabilities and prioritization.Ensure the new product line brand identity is consistent across all marketing executions and communications.Drive all asset and content creation, starting from the briefing stage, to support brand needs through Incrediwear's internal creative services and/or with external firms.Drive deeper understanding of target audiences through implementation and analysis of consumer insights and analytics, leveraging key learnings to optimize brand & product strategy.Support the building and implementation of all traditional, performance, digital, brand, content, and PR efforts.Analyzing trends and developments in the market; gather and analyze market data to identify new markets and customer opportunities, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.Conducting market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of products.Developing and measuring effectiveness and ROI of campaigns and activities to promote the brand and the business, such as, but not limited to, advertising initiatives, public relations efforts, product/brand influencers, and social media campaigns.Be the subject matter expert, ensuring all key value propositions and product features are accurately represented and communicated to the right stakeholders. This will entail working with research, education & training, sales, product development, and customer service.Manage a robust tradeshow schedule to ensure the new product line's brand attributes and value proposition are highly visible and properly communicated in order to garner attention, drive booth traffic, deliver a positive user experience, and produce a positive ROI for all shows.Mandatory Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (in marketing or related field), MBA a plus.10+ years of brand management/marketing management experience with a mix of medical device, OBS, and consumer brands required.Experience in developing budgets and maintaining financial oversight is required.Experience in consumer med tech across fitness, wellness, health, and sports a plusAble to travel as needed (approx. 20%) to trade shows in the US, plus training events, marketing team meetings, and corporate functions in California.Other Beneficial Qualifications Launched at least one brand that either disrupted or created a category.Experience with premium productsGlobal experienceWork Skills Intellectually curious, strong analytical and problem-solving skillsThorough understanding of end-to-end brand marketing mix and KPIsDay-to-day management of agency partners (creative, PR, media)Highly organized, independent, and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid collaborative relationships with multiple internal departments and external partners.Comfortable working in a less structured environment and able to hold self-accountable with processes.Strong PowerPoint creation and in-person & virtual presentation skills; proficiency in Outlook, Word, and ExcelStart-up mentality with comfort in a fast-paced environment, wearing multiple hats, and collaborating with different micro-cultures within the broader organization.Passionate about purpose-led brands – especially in health, wellness, and fitness – and obsessed with the consumer experienceCompensation and Benefits The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000.
