Here the hallmarks of an SLS wonderland – playful ambiance, VIP treatment, and theatrical experiences - meet idyllic views to set a lavish stage for the extraordinary to unfold.Job DescriptionWhat you'll do:Develop strategic marketing plans for the hotel to drive revenue across all departments.Partner with sales and revenue to ensure a unified approach, develop offers and campaigns that drive revenue for the hotel, executed in alignment with SLS brand creative standards.Provide functional leadership and strategic support for your team, executive leadership, internal customers, and vendors, including agencies.Lead a team of professionals with functional expertise including but not limited to Public Relations, Social Media, Paid Media Advertising, Email Marketing and Graphic Design.Oversee the Hotel website; ensure information is up-to-date, hotel events, offers and F&B information are merchandised appropriately across the site.Oversee development and execution of on-property marketing communications aligned with SLS brand creative standards.With support of Ennismore corporate PR lead, oversee local and national PR agency to support visibility and positioning of the hotel and all F&B outlets.Create relationships with local press, influencers and tastemakers, and coordinate media stays and events to host these audiences at the hotel.Manage hotel and F&B outlet social media channels, including content calendar creation and community engagement.Lead hotel email marketing program inclusive of monthly newsletters, and ad hoc communications to promote key hotel events and happenings.Develop ownable ongoing programming that will attract both visitors and locals, and differentiate SLS in the market.Budget development and ongoing budget management.Gather business objectives from operations teams and proposing marketing solutions to help achieve them.Ensure guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.QualificationsWhat we're looking for:Someone with a passion and knowledge of the arts, design and the hospitality industry.University degree with emphasis in Marketing is strongly preferred.At least 5 years of experience in progressive roles within a marketing function, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.Proficient understanding of systems such as: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook, Opera, Canva, Sprout, etc.Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills
