Company DescriptionFairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit is scheduled to open in 2025 following the rebranding of the Bangkok Windsor Hotel, located in the heart of the city's Sukhumvit district, which will bring a unique timeless interpretation of Fairmont's glorious legendary classic design, providing the most iconic and distinctive services together with an unforgettable gastronomic experience.Designed with "A Tasteful Touch of Elegance and Simplicity," Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit will offer approximately 419 room keys and feature a variety of specialty restaurants bars, a rooftop bar with a spectacular view of the skyscrapers in Bangkok's CBD, a swimming pool, a fitness center, a spa and wellness center, and meeting facilities with a choice of room size and equipped with virtual meeting equipment to meet the demands of today's customers, appealing to both overseas guests and Bangkok residents.Job DescriptionResponsible for set up, monitoring and maintaining the IT infrastructure, including the computer networks, servers, POS systems and communication technologies of the Hotel.Ensuring and implementing security measures to ensure the integrity and privacy of corporate and guest data, as well as compliance with data protection regulations.Leading the IT team.Providing technical instruction for employees and trainees.Motivating the team.Installing and configuring hardware and software.Troubleshooting IT issues that arise.Providing technical support for all employees and organizing training to ensure the efficient use of IT systems and tools.Developing technological solutions that improve guest service, such as optimization of reservation systems, digital check-in/check-out procedures and Wi-Fi services.Resolving issues and handling guest complaints related to IT challenges.Communicating with other departments to ensure the smooth running of operations.Negotiating and communicating with IT suppliers and service providers to ensure that the products and services delivered meet the requirements of hotel operators.Managing effective vacation planning for all team members.Regularly participating in HOD meetings and conducting daily team briefings.Conducting appraisal interviews with all team members, according to Fairmont standards.Managing the IT budget for efficient use of resources.Leading IT projects and initiatives, such as introducing new technologies or updating software applications.Informing management about the status and progress of IT initiatives.Preparing reports to document the usefulness and effectiveness of IT systems.Tracking technological trends to keep hotel operations competitive.QualificationsKnowledge and ExperienceDiploma in Information TechnologyMinimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a similar capacityGood reading, writing and oral proficiency in English languageKnowledge of Windows Operating SystemIdeally previous experience in pre-openingCompetenciesGood communication skillsService oriented with an eye for detailsAbility to work effectively and contribute in a teamSelf-motivated and energeticWell-presented and professionally groomed at all times #J-18808-Ljbffr
