Job DescriptionResponsible for set up, monitoring and maintaining the IT infrastructure, including the computer networks, servers, POS systems and communication technologies of the Hotel.
Ensuring and implementing security measures to ensure the integrity and privacy of corporate and guest data, as well as compliance with data protection regulations.
Leading the IT team.
Providing technical instruction for employees and trainees.
Motivating the team.
Installing and configuring hardware and software.
Troubleshooting IT issues that arise.
Providing technical support for all employees and organizing training to ensure the efficient use of IT systems and tools.
Developing technological solutions that improve guest service, such as optimization of reservation systems, digital check-in/check-out procedures and Wi-Fi services.
Resolving issues and handling guest complaints related to IT challenges.
Communicating with other departments to ensure the smooth running of operations.
Negotiating and communicating with IT suppliers and service providers to ensure that the products and services delivered meet the requirements of hotel operators.
Managing effective vacation planning for all team members.
Regularly participating in HOD meetings and conducting daily team briefings.
Conducting appraisal interviews with all team members, according to Fairmont standards.
Managing the IT budget for efficient use of resources.
Leading IT projects and initiatives, such as introducing new technologies or updating software applications.
Informing management about the status and progress of IT initiatives.
Preparing reports to document the usefulness and effectiveness of IT systems.
