This role will involve strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The mission is to drive innovation and sustainability in energy generation to support the company's global objectives.FunctionsStrategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for energy generation projects, aligned with the company's goals and market demands.Project Management: Oversee all aspects of project execution, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and foster positive relationships.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, and support staff.Quality and Safety Assurance: Ensure that all projects adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety.Budget Management: Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring financial control and reporting.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and problem-solving.Innovation: Promote the adoption of new technologies and practices to enhance project outcomes and sustainability.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.Experience: At least 10 years of experience in managing large-scale energy generation projects, preferably in a multinational setting.Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of energy generation technologies, project management methodologies, and regulatory frameworks.Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.Languages: Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are an asset.
