If this sounds exciting, we invite you to apply and learn more!ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the engineering, QA and Art teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality VR nursing simulations.Develop and execute the technical strategy in alignment with the Labster and UbiSim's overall goals and objectives, building a scalable platform to build, customize and distribute VR nursing simulations.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration across all functions of the engineering teams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and customer success, to ensure seamless product development and delivery.Oversee and initiate process and practice improvements for software development, testing, and deployment.Mentor and develop team leaders, promoting professional growth and career development.Ensure secure and compliant software development and infrastructure operation, fulfilling Labster's security policies.Manage the engineering budget, making decisions on hiring and tooling, to drive commercial success.Competencies & Skills10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of managing and scaling engineering teams.Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote work environment.Experience in creating EdTech, Healthcare or VR products.Familiarity with game engine and creation platforms (e.G.
