Join our motivated and vibrant Team as Director of Engineeringand build your career with us.Job DescriptionTo assume full responsibility for the cost-effective operation of the POMEC Department.To prepare the annual and revised POMEC budget in close cooperation with the Financial Controller and management, commensurate with operational requirement of the property.To keep accurate records and monitor closely all POMEC budget expenditures and to ensure that the budget is adhered to and costs strictly controlled.To allocate and countersign all invoices chargeable to the POMEC budget before being processed and charged.To establish an efficient system for the control and verification of all fuel deliveries to the premises.To supervise closely all engineering personnel in the performance of their duties.To delegate duties and responsibilities, as required, to the Assistant Engineer(s).To develop and implement a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program for all equipment in the hotel, including kitchen and laundry.QualificationsPrevious experience in a similar leadership in a 5-star hotel .Proficient in all aspects of building operations and facilities management.Strategic Planner and proficient in making annual operating budget for the department.Proficient in organizational planning with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines consistently.Strong interpersonal skills with attention to details and open to different cultures.
