Director, Head of Marketing, Unannounced Title - Blizzard Entertainment

We are seeking a candidate who will lead the release and growth of an innovative new title that will redefine its genre and captivate players globally.
YOUR MISSION:
As the Director, Head of Marketing for the unannounced title, you will be the driving force for strategy and execution across all marketing functions – from, announce, to launch, to rapid growth. This role will have a thought leadership position inside the organization, playing a key part in building the new game's brand. They will lead and drive critical functions that will enable the game to acquire, engage and delight players all over the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead overall marketing for the new title, from pre-launch, to launch, to growth at a massive scale.
Own marketing strategy development and execution for the title that allow it to deliver its acquisition and engagement goals – across all marketing channels and levers.
Conceptualize and lead high-impact and innovative campaigns that inspire players globally and shape culture.
Directly manage individuals and agencies in the areas of product marketing, brand marketing, influencer marketing, community and social media.
Cross-functional leadership to align and drive marketing initiatives across performance marketing/UA, growth marketing/CRM, creative, partnerships, dev/game team, international, comms/PR, finance, product management, analytics, research, partnerships, and beyond.
Be the marketing leader that aligns stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including company senior leadership.
Analyze player KPIs and business results to inform strategies, drive agile iteration of plans, and double down/scale back on initiatives to grow impact.
Requirements:
Experience in Product Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Brand Marketing or Integrated Marketing within a top tier game studio, developer, or publisher.
Success delivering business results, innovative creative, and delighting playing communities.
Demonstrated results managing sizable marketing investments and aligning large cross-functional teams.
Direct experience leading marketing across all stages of a product's lifecycle, from announce, pre-launch, launch, and large scale growth.
Experience collaborating within a large organization, driving creative work with multiple internal departments and 3rd party agencies/ partners.
Passion for games and cutting edge games marketing.
Experience managing direct reports and working with 3rd party agencies – inspiring and empowering leader to teammates they directly and indirectly manage.
Ability to effectively engage, motivate, and influence internal/external stakeholders and all levels the company with exceptional skills in preparing and presenting materials across varying audiences.
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing or equivalent field.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $120,600.00 - $223,110.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates, new hire compensation is negotiable.
