As the Director, you will be accountable for the execution and pull-through of digital enablement as part of our broader Medical engagement strategies.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will lead the creation and delivery of digital/omnichannel capabilities, processes, and tools to advance medical engagements and support global business goals. You will deliver, manage, and update global capabilities and standards for use by Global TAs and local markets through the Medical Digital Enablement Playbook. You will also develop communications, training, and change management to ensure optimized adoption of digital strategies.
Lead the creation & delivery of digital/omnichannel capabilities, processes and tools to advance medical engagements and support global business goals to Transform Care
Deliver, manage, update global capabilities and standards for use by Global TAs and local markets through the Medical Digital Enablement Playbook
Define & complete the roadmap for deployment and scaling of capabilities and standards
Develop communications, training & organisational change to ensure optimised adoption of digital strategies.
Drive medically-owned digital channels to ensure they are leveraged to maximum potential
Be a champion of technology and innovation; partner with internal and external digital specialists to identify industry-leading solutions to meet evolving challenges and user requirements
Establish strong strategic relationships with Global TAs to align the digital capabilities against global business priorities
Collaborate closely with Medical Content Leads, Reporting/Analytics team to ensure seamless technology integration, aligned processes, and best end-to-end experience for collaborators
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Advanced Medical Engagement Model and digital strategy (channel engagement, content transformation and advanced HCP analytics and insights)
Work with key cross functional digital partners in CDH, GCO, GCIT and across business units (OBU, RDU) to ensure medical digital strategy aligns with enterprise & to support enterprise-wide adoption of common digital standards
Align with GCO customers to establish Global to Local ways of working for Medical
Identify legal/compliance requirements and ensure these are accommodated
Work to align market and regional requirements with global strategy
Track adoption and adherence through global performance reporting. Flag non-compliance and ensure continuous improvement
Essential Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in medical or science field or relevant business experience
Significant experience working with digital engagement solutions, digital marketing, omnichannel, web strategy, MCRM
Strong project management skills. Proficiency in partner engagement and management, leading without authority
Strategic problem solver with strong eye for business, strategic planning and customer/outcome focus experience
Excellent spoken and written English
3 years+ experience in the pharmaceutical (preferred), commercial or business environments
In-depth knowledge of medical affairs with experience of working across global, regional and local networks
Understanding of the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products
