.Job Purpose: The Director for Investigations conducts and manages internal and regulatory investigations; and develops and implements a global investigation framework. While conducting investigations, you will collaborate with other departments globally to ensure progress and effective communication with key stakeholders. The role reports to the VP, Global Compliance.Responsibilities:Developing a global framework for investigation processes to bring structure and operational excellence on a global level, ensure consistency, simplification and automation. (10%)Collaborating with other corporate functions, such as the Internal Audit Department, Corporate Security, Legal Department, Human Resources, and other business units to identify and resolve ethics and compliance matters. (10%)Responding to suspected violations of the Code of Conduct and related Company policies by managing and conducting investigations of such violations and assists in determining appropriate disciplinary action or other corrective action as appropriate. (10%)Providing insight and recommendations for streamlining the various processes relating to investigations. (5%)Overseeing investigations globally and conducting large global investigations as well as selected investigations in the local domain, supporting the regional E&C teams, global and local stakeholders and management. Work in alignment with the regional E&C teams as required. (10%)Conducting investigations into internal allegations of violations of policies and regulatory investigations, which may be confidential or sensitive. (10%)Preparing detailed analyses, determining scope of investigations, defining next steps, action points, analysing data, and preparing investigation plans, reports and remediation steps. (10%)Conducting and preparing interviews as part of the investigation process. (5%)Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and Tech Data policies, procedures, and guidelines, including data privacy and confidentiality, and other requirements where relevant (e.G. AML, OFAC Sanctions, Competition Law). (5%)Document and report high-risk review and investigation findings and escalate to the relevant stakeholders. (10%)Drafting clear and concise reports for all levels of management and other stakeholders; preparing presentationsand presenting to senior management on investigation findings; and drafting disciplinary and development recommendations for business executives and senior management. (10%)Liaising with external parties such as consulting firms and external legal counsels. Supervise high value external providers, performing quality reviews over their work product and managing the investigation workflow, documenting investigation plans and other relevant decisions/documents.
