Role Description: Director Global Demand Management We are looking for a dynamic, analytical but foremost business savvy and curious leader that moves easily between data, analytics and business topics and has a capability to translate and discuss this at various local, regional and global forums.
The Global Demand Management (GDM) lead role is a newly created team that connects the Market/Cluster level Demand Forecast/Planning and aggregates and analyses it at Global Brand Level.
The function reports directly into the Global DF/D&L Lead and is part of the leadership team.
There are 4-5 Franchise Level Global Demand Management positions reporting into the GDM Lead.
This leadership role must be able to be hands-on one moment and then become tactical/strategical the other.
This function provides tactical connections to the Integrated Planning Team and Global Supply Review and manages the Global Demand Review as part of the principal role of DF/D&L and the day to day alignment with the Global Franchise/Brand Teams.
In case of Brand Allocation, the Global Demand Team takes ownership and assures proper demand alignment with markets and clusters and twice a year through analysis and cross referencing the Demand Forecast, Replenishment Plan and Financial Forecast provides IBP overviews per Brand on actions and ensures execution into the Markets.
This position is a key integrator role and this team is the key Subject Matter Expert towards the in market Demand Planning organization.
Relationship management and assertiveness are words that come to mind when describing this role, but also capabilities to see "opportunity" in data and translate it into actionable intelligence using digital tools and advanced analytics.
Responsibilities Primary activities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for Running the Brand Level Demand Planning & Forecasting Lead a team of 4-5 Professionals that handle the Franchise Level Demand Management Advanced Actionable Analytics for Brand, Regional and in Market organizations Drive Demand Planning related Enterprise Segmentation Deployment and Enabling Digital Twin Automation Point of Contact for SCM COE (IBP Stewards and Process Stewards) Coordinate and Execute allocations (demand portion) in alignment with Global Brand Leader, E2E Allocation Planning and in Market SCM / Commercial Team Responsible for preparation and facilitation of Global Demand Reviews and its outcomes Member of the Extended Global Franchise Team Provide Direction of Demand Planning community in terms of Global Supply & Demand decisions taken by Global Supply/Demand Review and Franchise Teams Demand Planning & Forecasting Super User (SME) for the DP community Point of Contact to Brand E2E planning & IBP and regional DF/D&L teams (Integrator role between market & global) Provide Analytics and report Out into ExM, Ops, Tier and GSR/GBR where needed Provide LROP and PP Global volume analytics and market trends in collaboration with Market Demand Planning, Commercial and Finance Run Brand Level compare of Financial Forecast vs demand Forecast and Replenishment Plan and advise on corrective and preventive actions Education & Skills Professional education and skills: Skills/Style We are looking for this open and creative person that can build and shape this role.
