Mission: The Spanish team, based in Madrid but with a nation-wide perspective, is looking for a Financial Director to help them consolidate and support their present and future growth. Previous knowledge about M&As would be nice to have. Availability to travel is required.Requirements:Bachelor ´s degree in finance, accounting, business or a related field.Fluency in Spanish with a good level of written and spoken English. Desirable good level of written and spoken French.Must have 8 to 10 years of progressive career experience in Finance/Accounting. Big Four background desirable.Must be familiar with governmental accounting in accordance with local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS.Must have in-depth knowledge of financial reporting, revenue cycle management, accounting, budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, audit, tax, payroll, information technology, and materials management.Must be able to demonstrate and effectively communicate the financial condition of the organization to the CFO and other members of the leadership team.Responsibilities:Evaluate current financial and operating systems, recommend improvements, ensure compliance with appropriate federal, state, tribal, and professional rules and regulations.Develop and implement new financial policies and procedures.Maintain and use specialized knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Prepare annual budgets and cost reports according to annually established calendar by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data, and recommending plans.Oversee the activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits, annual budget, and tax filings.Skills:ResilienceTeam playerAdaptabilityFast learnerCustomer orientationAutonomyProactivity#J-18808-Ljbffr
