As the Engineering Director, you will be responsible for engineering leadership for the Power & Renewables team in Europe. This includes direct leadership of the Power & Renewables European Engineering Organization to maintain core engineering competencies and indirect responsibility for managing the Center of Excellence Cluj team. You will retain collaboration efforts with the Noida Centre of Excellence and ensure we can position competitive solutions in all sectors of the Power & Renewables industry. You will cooperate with and guide the regional Operations Directors and country organizations in improving their Power & Renewables engineering capabilities for projects and service delivery. Additionally, you will collaborate with Sales and Proposal teams to drive competitive displacement projects and new initiatives through strong engineering expertise. You will exercise indirect leadership, providing strategic mentorship and encouraging core competency development.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: To blend, leverage, and develop core engineering expertise of Cluj and Warsaw engineering center resources to best support the group strategy in Europe.
To maintain collaboration efforts with other Centers of Excellence and ensure that we can position driven solutions in all sectors of the power industry.
To support Regional Operations Directors and country organizations to build engineering expertise (projects & service organizations).
To support Sales and Proposals for competitive displacement projects and new initiatives.
To be a technical contact for Westinghouse Europe and work with them on delivering KOB3 services.
To focus on KOB3 initiatives.

For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
Demonstrated experience in the automation industry with broad technical knowledge of Power and Renewables industry segments (Renewables, Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Boilers).
Proven experience in operational management roles.
Proficiency in English for interacting in daily written and verbal communication.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Ability to collaborate within a team environment within a sophisticated matrix organization.
A third European language is considered nice to have.
