The Sibelco Group operates over 110 production sites in 31 countries, with a team of over 5,000 people.Click to see how Sibelco materials are used in products within and outside your home.Location:Bilbao HQ Office For our new team in Bilbao, we are currently looking for a Director of Digital Transformation.With expertise in lean manufacturing, you will lead the transformation of the organization's operations by designing the strategy to become more digital and tech-savvy. You will assume responsibility for driving and managing our digitalization and automation projects to ensure we meet our strategic objectives in the most efficient manner. You will lead a team of internal and external project managers and their teams to execute projects effectively while meeting safety, environmental, quality, and cost requirements from Operations.With projects ranging from MES Software implementation, developing AI, and advanced analytics to connecting workers by making technical information through the Cloud or autonomous vehicles, you will be able to influence all stakeholders globally, not only by removing the roadblocks but also by selling them the benefits of this transformation.Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills, as well as project management experience, are vital for this role.With a Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mining Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science, and at least 8 years in automation and control systems in a very operational environment (production, maintenance or process), it is an opportunity for you to join a truly growing global business.Your English must be fluent as it will be your day-to-day language.
