Job Title: Director, Account Management Location: Remote, EMEA We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Account Director to lead our client relations, manage responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and oversee contract renewals within EMEA.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills in a matrix organization, a proven track record in account management, and the ability to solve problems creatively and at pace.
Key Responsibilities: Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the region.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our services/products.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
RFP/RFQ/RFI Management: Lead the development and submission of high-quality RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to gather necessary information and insights.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of all responses, adhering to client specifications and deadlines.
Contract Renewals: Oversee the contract renewal process, ensuring timely and successful renewals.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Track and manage contract timelines, ensuring proactive engagement with clients prior to renewal dates.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for client-related initiatives.
Communicate client feedback and market insights to relevant teams to inform product development and service improvements.
Lead regular review meetings with key stakeholders to update on account status, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications: Demonstrable experience in account management, sales, or a related role, in a director-level position.
Proven experience managing client relationships and leading responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract renewals.
Extensive understanding of the organization's business operations and industry.
Knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to lead and organize multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment with broad impact.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
