At Axpo, we are looking for a skilled Digital Twin & BIM Modeler to join our team. You will be instrumental in creating and managing a comprehensive library of BIM components and models for Substations and Powerlines, ensuring accuracy and functionality through your deep understanding of engineering and architectural principles.What you will do: Create and maintain a standard library of BIM components for Substations and Powerlines using 3D/2D information. Develop and manage BIM models of entire Substations and Powerlines from a standard library and 3D laser scans. Leverage project experience to create and maintain a standard library of entire substations and powerlines. Effortlessly create 2D views and plans of substations and powerlines. Integrate attributes of real Substations and Powerlines into every BIM model seamlessly. Export all BIM models to IFC format following clear schema and data requirements. Coordinate work with peers using .IFC or .RVT formats. Conduct model-based quantity and cost calculations. What you bring & who you are: Engineering or Architecture background, or proven similar skills through successful projects. At least 2 years of specialization in BIM Modeling of Infrastructure Projects. Mastery of Revit or Civil 3D with over 3 years of experience and a strong project portfolio. Proficiency in Dynamo for Revit or Civil 3D for simple and complex routines. Clear understanding of OPEN BIM and the IFC schema. Familiarity with BIM processes and concepts such as Use-Cases, CDE, EIR, and BEP. Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Independent, team-oriented, and communicative personality. Nice to have:Relevant certifications in BIM and Revit (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional). Nice to have:Strong knowledge of Python and Dynamo for workflow automation. Nice to have:Experience with point clouds and their cleaning is a plus. Nice to have:Good oral and written communication skills in German are advantageous.
