Digital Twin & Bim Automation Specialist (F/M/D)

Workload: 100% | Start: 1st October 2024. We are seeking a Digital Twin and BIM Revit Automation Specialist to join our team at Axpo. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining software applications that enhance BIM workflows. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining custom scripts, plugins, or applications to automate repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance collaboration.What you will do:Design, code, and maintain software applications that enhance BIM workflows.Develop and maintain custom scripts, plugins, or applications to automate repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance collaboration.Integrate BIM tools with other software systems used in the construction and design process, using Autodesk Forge as part of your tech-stack.Optimize software performance, ensuring smooth execution of BIM processes.Provide technical support to BIM users, troubleshoot issues, and address software-related queries.What you bring & who you are:Engineering or computer science background, or proven similar skills through successful projects.Mastery of common CI/CD and version control platforms.At least 2-3 years of experience doing similar tasks. Expert knowledge of C# and the Revit API.Proficient in Dynamo for Revit and/or Civil 3D.Good knowledge of Revit or Civil 3D, demonstrated by previous modeling experience.Clear understanding of OPEN BIM and the IFC schema.Comprehensive understanding of BIM processes and familiarity with Use-Cases, CDE, EIR, BEP.Strong oral and written communication skills in English.Independent yet team-oriented, with a communicative personality.Advantageous: Great knowledge of Autodesk Forge and the API, proficiency in Python and JavaScript, and good oral and written communication skills in German.About the team:At Axpo, our team is committed to driving innovation and efficiency in the energy sector.
