The role would be involved in understanding the insurance product and working with the underwriting & product management team to set up the product in the policy administration systems. You would be working with the UW, Product management, and digital teams across locations as part of the product setup process. You are a technologist with a keen inclination for software products and feel very comfortable using a software solution.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for gathering information related to product, campaign & policy documentation.Responsible for accurate digital product, campaign, and policy documentation setup in System6 for the respective countries.Responsible for the product design in S6 as per the project requirement.Responsible for raising IT tickets for new coverages depending upon the product as requested by UW, product owner, and project managers.Responsible for the upgradation of rating factors and product-specific data as per the project requirement.Responsible for checking the results after the product setup to ensure it is performing as per the business requirement. If there is an error from the underwriting perspective, I will rectify it.Responsible for ensuring consistency across products and countries, aligned to global compliance frameworks.Responsible for documentation of process and deliverables for transferable knowledge.Responsible for supporting ad-hoc tasks and analysis such as process optimization.Involving in calls and clarifying the queries raised by the process owners.Required Skills and ExperienceBachelor's Degree or an equivalent required.Must be familiar with the insurance product setup/lifecycle.Experience in setting up product (consumer lines, life or SME) in a rating or policy admin system.Knowledge of insurance products, riders, and coverages.Knowledge of product rating steps.Experience in working with UW and product managers.Experience in documenting product setup process.Experience in testing product premiums across different coverage and rider combinations.Experience in working with teams in a distributed environment across locations.A strong passion for learning and adapting to new processes.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Handles conflict effectively.
