Summary
The BPA Finance Analyst is responsible for the successful execution of finance-related projects and ensuring the accuracy of financial planning and reporting. The analyst will assist in leveraging business intelligence tools and streamlining finance processes. This role emphasizes finance over digital, requiring a foundational understanding of digital tools as applied to finance functions.
The role demands a solid understanding of finance functions and some experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (Qlik Sense, Power BI). Additionally, the analyst might collaborate with Data Scientists on our Artificial Intelligence tools. The incumbent will work under the guidance of senior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial decision-making and process efficiency.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Assist in the development of business intelligence solutions to support financial planning and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with finance managers across functions to gather requirements and support the implementation of finance projects.
- Provide support in organizing and maintaining financial data integrity and consistency across all business units.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
- Participate in the deployment and adoption of new financial digital tools and ensure proper training for end-users.
- Support senior analysts and managers in project planning, coordination, and execution, particularly through the AGILE methodology in JIRA software.
- Assist in the automation of finance processes to improve organizational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:
- University Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. Master's Degree/MBA is a plus.
- Approx. 5 years' experience relevant for the role in a multinational company with exposure at global/corporate and ideally also at country or region level.
- Basic understanding and experience with business intelligence and analytics tools, particularly Qlik Sense and Power BI.
- Experience with databases, like MS-SQL or MS-Access is preferrable
- Familiarity with AGILE project management methodology is preferrable
- Overall business/finance acumen; pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.
- Technical proficiency in these areas:
- SAP understanding, particularly CO and COPA modules
- Planning & performance management and analytics tools (Qlik Sense or Power BI)
- JIRA software for project management
- Very strong communication skills in English. Spanish language preferrable.
