Overview The Digital Content Marketing Specialist will lead and drive delivery of content in the form of email, web pages, social media, blogs, infographics, consumable creative assets and more.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing and editing content, marketing campaigns, and building engagement strategies that deliver on business objectives and showcase our vision for the consumer.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate command of brand voice, tone, positioning, and sound editorial judgment when it comes to content for facilitating and executing work that supports and optimizes the content lifecycle.
The Digital Content Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with our Manager of Campaign & Demand Generation and should be skilled at working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and with others at all levels of the organization.

Roles/ Responsibilities Contribute to overall content lifecycle management, from creation and editing through approvals, publishing/activation, auditing, measurement, curation, optimization, and maintenance.
Write content and assist with creating engaging, consumable creative content that coincides with the written work.
This can include producing videos using user-friendly websites with pre-made video templates, infographics using Adobe Creative Suite, graphic headers, and other graphic collaterals, to enhance engagement with the written content.
Guide, develop, execute, schedule, design and maintain strategies for content, communications, and engagement.
Support the Manager of Campaign & Demand Generation in providing content aligned with their up/cross-sell and acquisition campaign strategy.
Create and maintain monthly content calendar with corresponding content asset library to optimize and keep track of existing and new collateral focused on each stage of the customer lifecycle (Awareness, Acquisition, Conversion, Retention, and Loyalty).
Build up content asset library with relevant collateral for prospect and customer needs including putting together e-books, well-designed case studies, testimonials, thought-leadership pieces and product-focused content.
Use data analytics and insights to drive content decisions.
Write and review content and drive content simplification and engagement in print and digital.
Contribute to search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives with keyword optimization, content tagging, and metadata management.
Drive marketing asset creation including infographics, sell sheets, PowerPoint presentations and other marketing collateral to effectively drive demand for our solutions.
Contribute to content development and execution through blog and social media channels, supporting Onyx thought leadership objectives.
Monitor and analyze the performance of KPIs, proactively identify opportunities, present rationalized solutions to organizational leaders.
Advocate for a vision, drive commitment among cross-functional stakeholders, and solicit input and alignment from numerous cross-functional partners at all levels.
Qualifications Four (4) plus years of B2B marketing experience.
Experience writing and reviewing/editing content and driving development and delivery of print and digital communications.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office.
Creative and graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite and AI tools.
Preferred: Experience with software applications such as Salesforce, WordPress, Survey Monkey, etc.

Comfortable with researching and taking on new software to optimize content (Adobe Suite, Canva, Lumen5, content writing tools, etc.).
Related market/industry experience is desirable.
This includes but is not limited to the hospitality, travel, meetings & events, and commission payments industries.
Proficient in mapping and optimizing content to the customer lifecycle journey and sales cycle within the hospitality industry.
Experienced in SEO, measuring content impact and engagement.
Teamwork/Leadership/interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to frame objectives, recommendations, and results.
Strong organizational, administrative, and priority setting skills.
