Description
As the Digital Communications Specialist for Europe at Hitachi Energy, you will oversee the digital channels that connect our brand with our external and internal audiences. You will develop and implement the digital strategy, driving the presence of our digital platforms, including the web, intranet and other digital tools while focusing on enhancing engagement and driving our business strategy. You will also be supporting Social Media and Videos. You will be reporting into the Head of Europe Communications and functionally to the Global Head of Digital Communications & Marketing.
Your responsibilities
Develop and implement a digital communications strategic plan for Europe to increase brand awareness and engagement across the European market in alignment with the global strategic plan
Oversee the local websites, ensuring country websites are aligned with our communication objectives and are optimized for user experience, SEO and performance to better accommodate market needs
Maintain and enhance key Europe intranet sites and materials, in close alignment with the Europe communications team. Further develop and implement a local intranet strategy, including enhancements, processes, updates of content and structure to ensure the information flow and increase employee engagement
Responsible for digital tools in Europe. Evaluate and bring up European needs to the global digital team. Provide support and training to local teams
Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to improve strategies and demonstrate the impact of digital communication efforts across Europe
Identify and implement opportunities for growth on existing and emerging digital platforms staying abreast of digital trends, best practices, and bringing in the regional market perspective
Support social media channels, developing and executing strategies to grow followers, increase engagement and enhance our local and regional brand presence in Europe, in close alignment with the European Communications team and with Digital Communications & Marketing
Oversee production, create, edit and distribute of videos across digital channels and work closely with Europe Content Manager, internal teams and external partners
Your background
You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent
You bring profound Digital communications knowledge (web usability, social media strategy, digital tools strategy, analytics, SEO, etc.)
You have experience in B2B communications
You have an understanding of the energy industry, business and its aims
You bring a thorough knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques, Google analytics
You have knowledge of graphic design and image editing applications like photoshop, video filming, production and editing
You are experienced in using Microsoft office applications
You bring relational skills at all levels
You are a reliable person with a strong commitment to speed and quality
You are fluent in English
