Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM (EST), Flexible (Blocks of availability for design appointments, typically during lunch, after work hours, and weekends)

Position Overview: We are looking for an energetic and social-media-savvy Digital Ambassador & Design Advisor (DADA) to be the voice across digital platforms and engage customers in personalized design sessions. This role requires a love for interior design, an aptitude for social engagement, and the ability to connect with audiences authentically. You will also advise customers in design consultations, helping them bring their creative visions to life.
Key Responsibilities: Social Media Engagement & Community Building: Represent social platforms, engaging followers and creating content with a warm, friendly tone.Identify and participate in niche online communities, focusing on interior design interests.Develop content that resonates across platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest) with a consistent and approachable style.Stay current on design trends and U.S. culture to keep interactions relevant.Design Advisor & Customer Support: Conduct 3-5 virtual design consultations weekly, offering guidance on aesthetic and technical matters.Create hand-drawn sketches and shopping lists tailored to customer needs.Provide follow-up support after consultations, ensuring customers have everything they need to finalize their designs.Content Creation & Analysis: Develop approximately 3-4 social media posts per week after an initial training period.Engage in 5-10 daily interactions, responding to inquiries and maintaining conversational flow.Monitor content performance, refining strategies for increased engagement.Qualifications: Proficiency in English with excellent written communication skills.Knowledgeable about U.S. culture and interior design trends.Social media experience with a talent for creating engaging content.Passionate about interior design with the ability to conduct quick hand sketches.Flexible availability, including occasional evening and weekend hours.Nice-to-Haves: Active on various social media platforms with a strong understanding of community engagement.Familiarity with IKEA customer base.Extroverted personality, skilled at connecting with others and fostering community.Why Join Us?
