If you are interested in EdTech and want to be a part of a mission-driven organisation then we would like to hear from you.What does a HR Generalist do at Busuu?Provision of HR general advice and guidance on policy and process, recommending appropriate solutions.Management of the full employee lifecycle.Support the implementation, development and communication of HR policies and procedures.Manage a HR inbox, to provide timely advice and guidance on employee matters, as well as to escalate issues as required to other members of the People Team.Assist with ensuring all employee data is kept up to date and accurate in all HR files and system.Proactively develop strong and enduring relationships with key stakeholders.Produce ad hoc HR statistics and reporting.Participate in the implementation of specific HR projects.Assist with producing monthly payroll input/changes to payroll providers to ensure payroll remains accurate and timely.What we're looking for in a HR Generalist:Qualifications:University degree, preferred in Psychology, Human Resources Management or equivalent.CIPD qualified, or equivalent working experience will be desirable.Skills and experience:Proven experience of handling HR queries.Knowledge of employment law in Spain and the UK.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accuracy in a timely manner.Problem-solving attitude.Self-starter and self-motivated.A high level of diplomacy and confidentiality.Ability to work autonomously and be a team player.Ability to manage conflicting priorities and workload to meet deadlines.Ability to establish and build effective relationships with stakeholders.Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Fluent in English and Spanish.Experience working in an international fast-growth, fast-paced environment e.G. tech startup or scale-up will be desirable.In return we will ensure that you have:Our centrally located offices are well-equipped with free breakfast, plenty of snacks, fresh fruit, and free dinner of your choice if you need to stay late.Busuu offers a great Private Health Insurance scheme
