Following this vision, we recently acquired Spanish-based company Win Delivery and Portuguese start-up Kitch to tackle this opportunity in SaaS. At the same time, we're also leveraging our strong expertise in last-mile logistics to help restaurants better deliver their meals (what we call Glovo On-Demand or LaaS).Therefore we're looking for a Head of Glovo as a Service (GaaS) for Spain who will have a key role in the commercial growth and success of SaaS (Software as a Service) and LaaS (Logistics as a Service). As Head of GaaS, you will be responsible for developing strategic and commercial business plans, gaining knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the Foodtech industry, building the best value proposition and action plan for each customer (XL, managed accounts, and longtail), managing all the national expansion and building a top commercial team with clear objectives and a powerful roadmap ahead while coordinating with peer commercial teams at Glovo and top management at Kitch and WinDelivery. You will be the visible Head of GaaS in the country reporting directly to the Head of South and dotted line to SaaS and LaaS so it's key that you have an ambitious vision of the potential of GaaS at Glovo and establish a seamless relationship with both Kitch and WinDelivery's teams and your colleagues at country level. Your role will be key to lead the vision of turning GaaS into one of the main sources of partner profitability for Glovo tackling opportunities both on SaaS and LaaS.Be a part of a team where you will:Be the main responsible for the growth and expansion of GaaS at GlovoBe the owner of GaaS' P&LDevelop a strategic plan for GaaS in the country and make sure that everyone is aligned towards that plan and goal-orientedRoll-out an ambitious commercial plan in the country and be the owner of its success (ensuring proper follow-up and target measurement)Build and manage a sales dream team, continuously training and improving themWork closely with our partners to set up a sharp seller and customer strategy and implement the right KPIsSupport negotiations and close exclusive partnerships with the best accounts, always aligned with the company goalsAs an owner of GaaS' revenue, make sure that all deals follow the required profitability and take strategic decisions based on dataAnalyze new e-commerce trends and do benchmarks on the leading SaaS and LaaS operators in the worldCollaborate with other members of Glovo to engage them in the global vision, both Business and Product, and raise any problem/concern if neededActively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a differenceYou have:+7 year sales experience dealing with c-levels in the marketplace industry, key contacts in the food industry is a plus+5 years in sales team managementAt least 5 years of proven record in leading, motivating and coaching high performing commercial teamsSales hunger is a must!Strong communication abilities with the ability to influence and drive changeGood stakeholder management and passion to make things happenCuriosity, are familiar with technologies and web frameworks environments and have a desire to acquire a deep understanding on SaaSHands-on attitude: you'll have to roll up your sleeves!Highly motivated, results-driven, strategic thinker, with strong leadership and business fundamentals
