Lung Therapy Specialist – Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines UK Location: Field Based – x1 North and x1 South UK Janssen is recruiting x2 Lung Therapy Specialists (with some additional responsibility in Precision Medicine) to be based within our UK Operating Company within a field-based role.
Key Responsibilities: Clinically promote J&J Cancer Therapy medicines across prioritised Integrated Care Systems and Cancer Alliance footprints ensuring optimised appropriate patient access.
Lead the business plan for implementation within NHS Trusts and other defined local accounts as agreed with Business Leaders.
Deliver specific tactics to support appropriate local uptake of medicines in agreement with your Strategic Access Manager (SAM) and National Sales Manager (NSM).
Clinically promote J&J Cancer medicines in wider parts of Integrated Care System to ensure patient uptake and access to J&J Medicines is optimised.
Engage with Primary Care Network (PCN) Cancer customers and/or Cancer Locality Groups dependent on the Strategic Account Plan agreed with your SAM/NSM.
Develop a detailed understanding of NHS Trust health priorities, local NHS Trust Pathways, and inter-connectivity of the patient journey to inform effective business planning & customer engagement.
Initially promote J&J Lung medicine in the private sector and plan for launch readiness across Bladder Cancer and precision medicine (FGRF testing for bladder cancer disease area mapping and planning).
Map and prioritise the likely adoption flow of NHS Hospitals.
Ensure readiness for adoption onto hospital formulary on the day of launch.
Build relationships with regional clinical leaders across Lung Cancer and Bladder Cancer.
Drive early use of new indications to leverage this experience at the appropriate time in an NHS launch.
Prepare launch mapping for different types of formulation launch in Lung Cancer and Bladder Cancer understanding the needs of each key account from a service and implementation perspective.
Engage with SAM/SS/MSL to advance plans and connections to Cancer Alliance and Genomic Hubs where appropriate.
Create and validate target lists across key footprints.
Clinical Promotion & Scientific Knowledge (Licensed Indications ONLY): Drive clinical demand for brands & defined indications as a priority through execution of brand strategy & key tactics in-field.
Deliver assertive and balanced clinical arguments to positively challenge behaviours/status quo to influence clinicians to drive prescribing behavioural change.
