.About Axiomatic_AI: Axiomatic_AI is on a mission to reshape how AI integrates into the hardware world, starting with verifiable AI models that empower engineers.Our team is building the next generation of Automated Interpretable Reasoning (AIR), focusing on hardware and EDA (Electronic Design Automation) innovation.We need passionate, technically adept individuals to help take our project from development to a commercial product.We are looking for individuals in their early career stages, with 3+ years of hands-on industry experience, who are eager to help lead this mission.If you've been actively contributing to open-source semiconductor projects or worked at top semiconductor firms, and have an interest in merging AI and hardware design, you might be the right fit!Key Responsibilities: Contribute to and lead hardware design efforts: Work with the team to refine and commercialize open-source hardware tools, driving our project into productization.Develop and optimize numerical simulation algorithms: Collaborate with experts in AI and scientific computing to refine hardware design automation systems.Integrate EDA tools: Interface with industry-standard EDA tools, including Cadence, Synopsys, or open-source alternatives, to optimize design flows.Collaborate with the community: Actively participate in open-source hardware communities, such as OpenROAD, FOSSi Foundation, and SkyWater PDK, contributing to new tools and standards.Mentorship and leadership: Guide junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Requirements: Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a focus on IC or hardware design.Experience: 3-5 years in EDA tools, semiconductor design, or related fields. Experience with open-source EDA tools (e.G., Yosys, OpenROAD, SkyWater PDK) is highly valued.Strong knowledge of digital and mixed-signal IC design.Experience working with simulation software, such as FDTD solvers, or collaboration on chip fabrication projects.Technical Skills: Familiarity with hardware description languages (e.G., Verilog, VHDL). Experience in RISC-V, PULP platform, or other open-source architectures is a plus.Solid understanding of numerical methods, optimization, and scientific computing.Team Skills: Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, with a passion for solving tough engineering problems.Bonus: Contributions to open-source hardware initiatives such as LibreCores, OpenTitan, or similar projects.
