What the role entails • Team member role that requires general supervision, • coaches and mentors other testers on daily basis, • involved in creating, defining, and improving test automation processes, • conducts the automated test execution process, • develops, maintains and executes automation test-cases and track results, • keeps automated test cases up to date and maintain them, review pull requests, • discover and develop necessary testing tools to ensure highest quality, • participate in maintaining and testing the automated framework including continued development / maintenance (C#, Glados), • professional support of QA Engineers with automation expertise and mindset, • collaborates with other team members or members on the other side when needed, • create test automation documentation, when required, • advocate for best test automation practices, • keeps up-to-date on the latest advances in the test automation community, • creates and maintains continuous integration pipelines for the automation tests, • creates processes with automation first mindset (Documentation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code), and • automates manual or menial tasks with code.
What we ask of you Technical Skills – Require programming skills to write computer code and scripts in common computer languages, such as Javascript, Python, C++.
Suggest /Make framework enhancements to accommodate the scripting needs.
Analytical skills – Analytically examine bug reports, prioritize necessary tests, and streamline application functions through automated testing processes.
Attention to detail – Being detail oriented is required as you will test web and mobile applications to find ways to improve them and isolate problems.
Communication skills – Strong verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and create testing plans and written reports showing errors.
Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows.
Proficiency with TeamCity workflows.
Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
Preferences: Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
Experience in software/game development and working within an agile environment.
