Position Objective: Ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of software products by implementing DevOps practices.
Functions and Responsibilities: Be in charge of the development and maintenance of our software products as a DevOps System Engineer.
Experiment with new technologies and architectural solutions including: AWS-based microservices A unified workspace in Angular for all digital touchpoints with our customers An infrastructure built on the AWS cloud A DevOps pipeline to automate and optimize the delivery process A constant focus on quality through advanced test automation tools Requirements: Must have: Technical education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an IT-oriented degree program.
3+ years Operations experience, preferably in a DevOps or similar role.
Excellent knowledge of HTTPS protocol and network issues.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
Strong experience with GIT as a version control system.
Excellent knowledge of Linux.
Troubleshooting and tuning of JAVA based applications.
Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
Good knowledge of Shell Scripting, Python, Powershell.
Familiarity with English, written and spoken, which will be used on a daily basis to interact with Admiral group colleagues who are part of our cosmopolitan and dynamic Agile teams (+B2).
Attention to software quality and performance.
Open-minded approach, in the name of cooperation and constructive criticism, and a natural instinct for problem solving.
Nice to have: Knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
Concepts of security standards (ISO27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR) and knowledge of security frameworks (CIS controls).
Knowledge of DevOps practices.
Knowledge of SQL or No-SQL databases.
Test automation experience (unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end functional testing).
Interest in understanding complex software architectures (microservices, integrations with third-party applications, cloud services).
