About the Role As a DevOps Technology Specialist, you will be working on CI/CD technology powering the Nespresso business for web applications. You will work in a direct-to-customer context with significant volumes and traffic and a very rich feature offering, being part of a large development organization with direct impact to the online business.
As a central part of the software engineering community, you will bring deep technical expertise and knowledge to the product team, being part of the technical reference team for DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines including security steps. You will guide and promote optimal use of process and technology to support the cost-effective delivery of business requirements within the area of expertise.
Nespresso is embarking on a re-architecture journey for all the eCommerce landscape. As the DevOps Lead, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing the CI/CD strategy for our new eCommerce applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the release cycle and improve the overall quality of Nespresso eCommerce, by leveraging DevSecOps tools and practices.
What You'll Bring Define CI/CD pipeline templates for eCommerce web applications, collaborating closely with development and quality leads.Lead the creation of Proof of Concepts for new tools and new steps in the templated CI/CD pipelines.Drive our near shore partner team of DevOps engineers to implement and maintain the pipelines, release automation tools and processes necessary for the continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring of our eCommerce web applications.Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD related issues, working closely with the delivery teams to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.Participate in the DevOps Nespresso Community of Practice, with other DevOps specialists from infrastructure components and other application domains.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements and automation opportunities.Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps.Who You Are Effectively communicates in English and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience of at least 2-3 years working as a DevOps engineer, and 1-2 years as a technical lead.Deep knowledge in the implementation of complex CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.Experience in the usage of automation tools, with strong emphasis on Github actions.Cloud expertise, including previous experience creating CI/CD pipelines for Cloud components.Bonus Points If You: Are passionate about technology and software development and can bridge technical and non-technical populations in a large organization.Have experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams.Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Groovy.Experience with Configuration management tools like Ansible.Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Why You'll Love Working With Us We offer more than just a job.
