Do you want to join us?Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) is Santander's global division that supports some of the world's most complex and sophisticated corporate and institutional clients, offering customized services and value-added wholesale products to best meet their needs.We embrace a strong risk culture and all our professionals at all levels are expected to take a proactive and responsible approach toward risk management.Santander is proud of being an organization where there are equal opportunities regardless of gender identity, culture, and disability.Our mission is to contribute to help more people and business prosper.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs a DevOps Engineer, your mission will be to contribute to the transformation and continuous evolution of the platforms that supports the Business line.We need someone like you to help us in different fronts :Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines to automate and streamline our operations and processes.Ensure that deployment and integration processes are carried out with high levels of efficiency, predictability, quality, and security.Develop and maintain monitoring solutions that help detect and resolve infrastructure problems before they affect business services.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.Provide Observability as a service to facilitate Application and Infrastructure functional and technical monitoring and centralized logging.Develop automations around public cloud services (mainly AWS) to manage infrastructure, software and operations in the public cloud.Production problem solving and coordination with development team to speed up time to recovery (log aggregation, SLAs, EE monitoring, alerting).Code analysis at a quality and Security perspective to allow development teams granting a continuous improvement culture.Collaborate with all team members to improve engineering excellence, systems, procedures and data security.EXPERIENCEyears of experience in IT.Years of experience in Technical / High availability Solutions / Application Architecture.Years of experience in event-oriented architectures working with Kafka.Fluent in English and desirable in Spanish.EDUCATIONBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGEInfrastructure as Code (IaC), proficient in using infrastructure as code technologies (e.G., Terraform, Ansible) to automate the management and provisioning of infrastructure.Scripting and programming skills, ability to write scripts in languages such as Python, Java to automate routine tasks and integrate systems
