DevOps Engineer (Contract) Hybrid working in Malaga YanTech Associates have partnered with a leading technical consultancy in Spain who are looking to hire a Contract DevOps Engineer (minimum of 12 months with a likely extension).
Key Responsibilities: Work closely with development and data engineering teams Take the lead in automating and optimizing operations and workflow Assess and integrate tools and technologies to strengthen system infrastructure and processes Champion system improvements, particularly in container orchestration Document processes, systems, and best practices to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing Minimum Requirements: 3+ years of DevOps experience Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) Version control and repository scaffolding tools (Git, Maven Archetype, Yeoman, Custom solutions) Branching strategies (GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development) Continuous integration tools (GitHub Actions) Scripting languages (Ansible, Python, Helm) Container image builders (Docker, Podman, Buildah) Container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift) Programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Shell scripting) Monitoring tools (Beats, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana, Dynatrace) The company is offering a competitive hourly rate.
