Devops Engineer - Aws Specialist

Location : Remote Company : Banco Santander UK Experience : 3+ years Language : Minimum English C1 Job Responsibilities Maintain AWS accounts / environments (DEV, PRE, PRO). Move the IaaC (Infrastructure as a Code) solution through governance processes. Continue patching and fixing vulnerabilities. Deliver new solutions and improvements continuously. Requirements : Mandatory Skills Mandatory Skills Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of AWS services. Proficient in writing IaaC, preferably using Terraform. Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kong, GitLab, Jenkins, and GitHub. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with AWS services including ECS, ECR, EKS, EC2, Fargate, Lambdas, IAM, RDS, both rational and non-rational databases (e. g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB). Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Desirable Qualifications AWS and DevOps certifications (not essential but preferred). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or substantial practical experience in advanced software delivery. Personal Qualities Team player.
