What you'll do
Role purpose:
Responsible for supporting the development of Cloud & Edge offerings within VBPS/PPE.
Production and maintenance of architecture/design documents for solutions and roadmaps for their desired end-states.
Capturing, documenting and sharing Architecture best practices and building and maintaining relationships with other Architecture areas within Vodafone.
Providing guidance to product and solution designers that are contributing to the Cloud & Edge Architecture or making use of it for Customer Solutions
Developing cross technology architecture strategy through the formation of working groups relating to enterprise product and business system technologies.
Who you are
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Self-motivated/self-starter with strong leadership, communication and influencing skills (up to C-Level) and the ability to build and maintain strong positive relationships with business users and stakeholders at all levels.
Experience within a technology organisation in a similar role, leading end to end solution development / solution assurance and leading matrix teams
Deep understanding and experience in the application and development of products/strategies relating to Cloud technology with focus on Azure and AWS.
Understanding and experience in the application of Architecture frameworks and techniques.
Experience in implementing and adapting architecture techniques within multiple delivery scenarios (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, DevOps etc)
Desirable technical / professional qualifications:
Relevant qualifications in Azure, AWS, Google, VMware
TOGAF COBIT, Zachmann, Tele Management Forum standards (TAM, eTOM and SID), ITIL etc
