.Detection & Response EngineerCategory Technology & DevelopmentLocation Barcelona, SpainJob ID R022954widget RegularDescriptionCraft:Technology & DevelopmentJob Description:We are looking for a Detection and Response Engineer to protect Activision, Blizzard and King and join our security team in Barcelona.ResponsibilitiesAs our Detection and Response Engineer, you will be part of our ABK Security Operations team, and you will build, improve and maintain our security platforms, protecting our cloud-computing environments as well as our data centers and corporate networks.You will identify and respond to security alerts and issues in a timely and methodical manner, enhance incident response workflows to support our security monitoring operations and participate in the definition and implementation of security projects inside the company. You will also engage security knowledge sharing within the team and across the company.Skills to Create ThrillsYou have a self-starter attitude so you're able to take direction and execute tasks on your own while working in a team.Key qualifications include:BS in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.Solid technical background, including extensiveexperience doing security incident response, security monitoring and administration as part of a CSIRT or SOC.Knowledge about the current security threat landscape and common tactics, techniques and procedures used in offensive security.Knowledge about how technologies work like Firewalls, AV, IPS, WAF, Cloud, EDR, sandboxing systems as well as TCP/IP, routing protocols and common network services.Must be willing to participate in the on-call rotation.Must be willing to do occasional traveling.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Fluent in English.Tasty Bonus PointsExperience in cloud security in Azure/GCP and/or any other similar platforms such as AWS.Security certifications such as CISSP, SANS GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GCFE or cloud related, would be a major plus, but skills in the right areas are just as beneficial.Experience automating processes and developing tools.Ability to perform memory and system forensic analysis on Linux, Mac or Windows systems.Experience in patch management and vulnerability scanning.About KingAt King, we're Making the World Playful.
