Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer
Job Description: We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer with the following qualifications and responsibilities:
Desktop support experience within the last 18 months.Strong Break/Fix skills for Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks, and Printers.Minimum of 2 years face-to-face experience in a Desktop Support role.Outstanding customer service and communication skills.Post Deployment Support/Floor Walking/Desktop Support experience within the last 3 years.Performing asset inventory activities as needed.Strong Microsoft Windows OS experience, especially with Windows XP and Windows 7.Understanding of Asset Management systems.Fault analysis for Microsoft Office Suite 2007/2010.Reasonable knowledge of 2nd line fault analysis and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).Basic Smartphone/Blackberry Support experience.Experience providing remote fault analysis via verbal communication and IT remote control tools.Active Directory user account administration experience.Ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork.Experience in providing H&E support based on guidance from the remote team.Project or rollout experience in the IT environment.Hardware accreditations or experience with HP, Lenovo, or Dell equipment.Requirements: Experience providing hardware and software support in a Windows environment.iOS mobile device deployment, remote management, and support expertise.Ability to successfully track multiple tasks and remain cheerful under pressure.Ability to document and socialize procedures, findings, improvements, and techniques.Excellent verbal communication, effective with remote communication.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to provide On-Call and After-Hours support.Ability to lift up to 50lbs.Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check.For more details, please refer to the original job announcement.
