Responsabilities :
Comunicate directly with customer for product development subjects.
Understand customer tecnical specifications necessary for the design (product performance and safety, gap and flushness, quality, assembly sequence, surrounding parts).
Looks for solution and suggest technical proposals, respecting existing documents in client network.
Realise and pilote the design of parts and products : analise the feasibility with regards to funcional specifications from customers.
Manage the daily technical flow of information with CAD office and the tier suppliers according to the client standard.
Liases qith the toolmaker together with the Injection & Tooling Engineer to optimize to optimize the design of parts according to tool feasibility.
Proposes and leads the Design Reviews on his project.
Executes the actions decided during the design reviews and updates regularly the action plan.
Takes into account the perimeter changes.
During the industrualization phases:
Support the manufacturing of samples for the customer and the process validation
Participate to the cubing events at the customer
Analyses and suggests modificatinons on the parts and products to meet the requirements by taking into account feedback from validation or metrology
Updates or pilot the updates of the CAD data according to modifications validated by the project.
Capitalizes and formalizes the lessons learned of the design during the project life.
What we are looking for:
You have 5+ of relevant professional experience
You can be on-site at the location in Sant Andreu de la Barca, Catalonia, Spain
You are proficient on Catia V5, with a focus on plastic parts development
Good knowledge of plastic rules.
Proactive and positive mindset.
You have excellent communication skills in Spanish and English to effectively collaborate with team members and attend internal meetings
