Design Engineering Manager

Leveraging proprietary technology processes, they reimagine and redefine high-performance power solutions for industrial applications, telecom infrastructures, cloud computing, automotive, and consumer products. Our client seeks an Analog Design Manager to lead their team of Design Engineers in developing analog and mixed-signal ICs. This role involves directing and supervising daily activities and setting annual goals for projects and the design team. You will provide guidance within the framework of the company's standard design procedures and contribute to analog circuit design. Essential Functions Lead the design and development of integrated circuits. Manage the entire product development cycle, from definition to release. Oversee the activities of the Design Engineering team. Allocate resources based on assignments from the Department Manager and established policies. Participate in hiring and performance evaluations. Recruit new team members. Mentor and train Analog Design Engineers. Qualifications MSEE / PhD or equivalent with 8-12 years of analog circuit design experience. Expertise in precision and/or power IC preferred. Thorough understanding of industry concepts and practices, with sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques throughout the design process. Proven experience in managing IC Design Engineers/teams. Experience in guiding analog products through the complete development cycle, from definition to release. Ability to lead and direct the activities of staff-level engineers. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Location Barcelona, Spain
