Responsibilities Designing components using CATIA V5, with focus on surface design. Assisting in creating engineering assemblies – from hardware to bond models. Helping to design molds, masters, and tooling for production (you'll get involved in the process end to end). Working through the development phase, supporting everything from prototypes to full-scale production. Collaborating with the CAE team to improve and optimise designs. Supporting senior engineers with their projects and picking up new skills along the way. Attending client meetings to discuss progress and challenges. Joining internal team meetings to track progress and plan the next steps. Helping to manage and maintain technical documentation for the projects. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in design engineering, ideally with exposure to composites or related industries. Great knowledge in CATIA V5 and experience working with CAD/CAE tools. Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail. Some experience in designing for manufacturing (if you've worked with molds, tooling, or fixtures, that's a big plus). Someone who enjoys working in a team but can also handle projects independently.
