About the roleAs our Deputy International Markets & Partnerships Director, you will be developing the international markets and partnerships strategy with the International Markets & Partnerships Director for the Village, focusing on various markets and exploring potential markets. You will also develop and maintain partnerships with key partners, including government entities, travel associations, airlines, hotel groups, etc., to drive successful business partnerships representing the business. You will also be responsible for reports focusing on International Markets and Partnerships, working together with the Business Analysts.
Key responsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role will include some or all of the following:
Work closely with the Director leading the team to develop and execute a strategic plan that effectively targets international markets and partnerships, and meets sales objectives.Participate in decision-making processes, offering guidance and support to the Director.Responsible for team leadership and management.Inspire and guide a team, delegate tasks effectively, and make business decisions.Monitor the performance of the team and identify areas for improvement.Provide support and guidance to staff members to help them develop their skills and careers.Develop and implement strategy for all segments (FIT, Leisure, MICE, HNW) in international markets, with specific emphasis on:Manage relationships with luxury travel agencies to ensure inclusion in all itineraries and travel programs.Manage a MICE operators portfolio to identify groups in Spain and incorporate our Villages in their programs.Strengthen relationships with Spanish and regional tourism institutions focusing on international markets.Develop and implement B2B2C partnerships strategy with financial, mobility, and travel partners in international markets to negotiate, sign-off, and launch specific campaigns.Monitor partner performance and ensure KPIs align with company objectives for the region.Develop and deliver a clear understanding of business goals to create action plans and execute implementation for the Spanish Villages across a market calendar.Work with the Partnerships and International Markets Central Team to monitor and track performance of partners and campaigns.Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders across business functions to ensure project quality and identify follow-up business opportunities.Collaborate with the Business Analyst and planner to control monthly reports by following internal processes to support short, medium, and long-term business planning.Manage and optimize the spend budget with the business analyst and the team.About YouWe are looking for an individual who can display the following experience and skills:
