The role is the linchpin that brings together the forecast from our customer base (Sales function), Procurement to be able to plan timely availability of raw materials to allow for Manufacturing to produce, on time and to plan, meeting our OTIF requirements for customers, thereby directly contributing to our customer satisfaction. Based on the Forecast tool (Blue Yonder), you will generate a base forecast. You will lead demand planning meetings to develop a consensus demand plan. Being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our Demand & Inventory plan, you will be analysing historical sales trends. In the Unit S&OP meeting you submit this demand plan to be signed off, to be used for the inventory & production plans. You are driving continuous improvement in the forecast accuracy, increasing the quality of the forecast, enabling to optimise the inventory levels and to reduce the obsoletes. In this role, you will also support the analysis, preparation and optimisation of our Supply Chain processes Responsibilities: Generate a base forecast and lead demand planning meetings with the sales & customer services teams Increase the quality of the forecast. Work with sales teams and strategic customers to share sales forecasts Responsible for KPI's as Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Obsoletes linked to forecasts Managing appropriate stock levels, driven by forecast improvements Provide expertise as EU demand planning and inventory optimisation expert across the different Units in EU. Share in-depth knowledge of tools and processes to improve best practices Proactively contribute to the development and enhancements of Blue Yonder continuously looking at how to improve it's use for better results and accuracy on data forecasting, being the driving force behind improvement proposals Support implementation of EU SC Optimisation projects as assigned and drive continuous improvement in Demand and Inventory Planning across the EU SC Requirements: Master's in Engineering, Supply Chain or similar Analytical, you like to work with numbers Good communicator, proficient in working with Sales teams English Fluency
