We are currently looking for a Demand Planner for the Supply Chain Department, which is an exciting, newly created position.
Within our growing Sales Office in Spain (Madrid), you will be responsible for driving the development of a multi-category business by leading our demand planning accuracy, through a deep control and management of our stock flows, from our inbound production planning to sell-in sales to clients.
You will be active in the categories of: Biscuits Waffles (Bollería) Sweet Spreads Ice Cream Bars Both in Retail and Away From Home, within the Sales Office in Spain, you will be focusing on developing a multi-category business in leading our demand planning accuracy through a deep control and management of our stock flows.
In all these categories, Lotus Bakeries has concepts with significant growth potential, sometimes introducing new brands from the UK that are completely new to the Spanish market.
Overall, the main focus is on our international flagship brand, Lotus Biscoff , which is active in Biscuits, Sweet Spreads, and Ice Cream.
The Demand Planner (together with the Sales Manager Retail) will concentrate on delivering accuracy through cooperation and leading the IBP process.
You will work actively with the Marketing, Category, and Sales teams to project excellent sales planning in order to enhance our supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
You will work closely with the KAM team to develop timely and accurate forecasts for assigned accounts and revise them throughout the year.
You will be in charge of maintaining and creating new ways of reporting to extract key insights per business and clients to help improve accuracy, which drives down logistics costs.
We are looking for a Supply Chain talent with proven experience in Demand Planning.
Key characteristics required include: Master's Degree (Marketing, Commercial, Economics, etc.)
Fluent in Spanish and English Solid knowledge of Excel, SAP, BI, and Statistics High stress tolerance, able to manage multiple tasks in parallel Driving results (going the extra mile to get things done) Strong analytical skills and capacity to extract learnings and apply them Capacity to lead the national IBP project, building an integrated process to work as a team Competent in extracting key commercial business insights to achieve an excellent DPA Understanding the quote: "Retail = Detail", meaning that excellent execution is key Match with Lotus Bakeries' TOP values: Team Player, Open Dialogue, Passion for Sales, and Brands.
