It's because of this that we are committed to providing equal opportunities to talent from all backgrounds.Your work-life opportunity: As a Demand Analyst, you will be responsible for controlling and analyzing the operational results of South West Europe's cities and accountable for the financial budget of the region.
You will also forecast the orders and couriers needed in the short term horizon.Be a part of a team where you will:Build new tools to improve and automatize the visibility of metrics in the department.Develop order forecasts at daily level with a short term horizon.Proactively perform analysis to come up with insights to help improve forecast accuracy, reduce operational errors and costs.Analyze in detail the cities that will be under your scope to extract local peculiarities that the system should consider and find the levers to pull in our operational portfolio.Work very close with local teams to ensure the best in class operations in the region.Understand and challenge the operations model in Glovo.Commit to contributing to Glovo's growth globally, getting the job done.Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference.You have:A degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline such as engineering, mathematics or supply chain management.Proficiency in SQL (create your own queries), Excel and English.1-2 years working experience acquired in consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or healthcare companies with demonstrable knowledge in the areas of supply & demand planning or a role related to data analyst.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Data-driven decision-making is a must.Advanced knowledge in statistics, forecasting methods and understanding their financial and operational impacts.Ability to present and convince by data; you know how to explainthings in an understandable way.An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude.Nice-to-haves:Knowledge of visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or QlikView.Python
